Case 248: A Clinical Case Sharing of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement System in a Pomeranian Dog by Dr. Shao Zhiwei from Wuhan Weiwei Animal Hospital
A Pomeranian dog, 1 year and 6 months old, male, 2.8kg,suffered from lameness and severe muscle atrophy due to femoral head necrosis. As such, we decided to perform a THR surgery. During the surgery, we adopted a φ11mm PEEK cemented acetabular cup, a φ8mm+0 femoral head, and a #1 stem of BlueSAO Micro & Nano Bionic Hip Replacement Systemfor replacement. The dog is recovering well from the surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
