A Samoyed mix, 2 years old, female, 18kg,suffered from femoral head luxation. As such, we decided to perform a hip replacement surgery on this dog. Intraoperatively, a φ21mm bionic acetabular cup, a φ16mm PEEK femoral head, a #6 biological femoral stem, an M+0 femoral neck, and φ14mm lateral bolt of BlueSAO Bionic Hip Joint System were adopted for replacement. The dog is recovering well from the surgery. It could go for a walk on the second day after surgery. Best wishes for an early recovery.
